Bad educational experience

     Korean education lean too much towards on University entrance exam (Korean SAT).  For example, when I was high school student, we had only about 10 days of summer/winter vacations.  We had to go to school rest of the days in all whethers.  Also, high school seniors had to studied other subjects like mathmatics or english in P.E, music or art classes.  This kind of practice gives a lot of pressure to the students, and I don't think it's right.  It was really stressful.

Special place

I took this picture in Ilyoung-li (It's in Jangheung).

    
     One of my special place is Jangheung.  Jangheung is in the suburbs on Seoul.  It's near my home, so, It took 30 minutes for me to go there by bus.  I go there with my friend(s) from time to time to walk, sit or lie down on a mat, chatting and eat something.  Once, my friend and I went to Ilyoung-li.  We spread a mat in the shade, lay down, and talking over snacks.  It was really nice day, and we felt so comfortable and restful.  In Jangheung, there are lots of mountains, streams and fields.  I feel peaceful, comfortable and refreshed there.  To me, Jangheung is a good place to get rest.

    

My boyfriend's action that moved me.

 
I want to talk about my boyfriend's action that moved me.
My boyfriend and I were in the bus.
I was really tired that day, so I drowsed.
My head was keep moving up and down like I'm doing headbanging.
And then, my boyfriend hold me and grab my head so that I can sit still and wouldn't hit my head somewhere. He keep did this about an hour.
It is hard to do same position for an hour, so I was moved by his consideration.
It was not a big gesture, but I was really touched through his action.


 

something special

   



     In the second drawer under my desk, there is a westlife's 'World of Our Own' cassette tape. I have had it for 10 years, and it is really special to me. There are 3 reasons why it is special.
     First, Westlife's cassette tape is my first cassette tape that I bought for myself. I bought it when I was 12, after listened westlife's song 'World of Our Own' in the bus.
     Second, Westlife's cassette tape reminds me of my old times. Since I bought this tape, I listened almost everyday. Therefore, when I listen this tape, it recall old memories of the time.
     Finally, Westlife's cassette tape help me with my english study. Because of this, I got an interest in English and Western culture. It encourages me to study english and other stuff.
     Thus, Westlife's cassette tape mean a lot to me.

Hello.
My name is Hyunjung.
I'm a sophomore, and my major is Public administration.
I live in Yeonsinnae, Seoul, far from SeoulTech. It took one and a half an hour for me to come to school.
I like to read, hang out with my friends in my free time.
Recently, I read revolutionary road, and it was really good.
I also like to watch comedy movie and american soap opera.
